Trumpet Sounds
Excitement is brewing for Tine Thing Helseth's upcoming concerts with ICO on 9 and 10 May in Limerick and Dublin. Take a thrilling trip from Europe to South America with the trumpet and enjoy tunes you never thought you would hear on this instrument. Grieg, Neruda and Piazzolla are just some of those trumpet sounds!

Peter & The Wolf
Prokofiev’s Peter and the Wolf is legendary - a miniature masterpiece which has the power to be reinvented with every generation. Join a highly charged ICO Wind Quintet for this classic tale at the West Wicklow Chamber Music Festival on Sunday morning, 19 May.

The Story of a Cello
French Cellist Camille Thomas throws the spotlight on the cello with a concerto by CPE Bach and nuggets by August Franchomme, whose Stradivarius cello she has inherited. Katherine Hunka and ICO champion Nordic giants, Grieg and Sibelius on Sunday 19 May in Galway. Guaranteed to thrill!

Seeking Schubert
Join us for drama and emotion with Schubert. Be mesmerized by his re-imagined Scherzo in D-flat major before delving into Schubert's enigmatic Unfinished, full of gorgeous melodies. Mozart’s Horn Concerto brims with gaiety while Beethoven’s turbulent Coriolan Overture sets the pace for a roller-coaster with Thomas Zehetmair on 13 and 14 June in Dublin and Limerick.

Midsummer Magic
We are thrilled to be a part of UCH’s Proms Weekend. On Saturday 22 June Midsummer Magic time-travels through the ages with a host of all-time favourite arias, overtures, waltzes and more. Acclaimed Soprano Anna Devin will entranse audiences as Wyn Davies returns to conduct ICO in this glorious summer celebration.

Gala concert at UCH & Music in the museum
ICO Schools (formerly Sing Out With Strings) returns to UCH, Limerick to present its annual Gala Show, A Little Night Music on Wednesday 15 May @11.15am. St. Mary’s N.S. and Le Chéile N.S. students showcase their compositional, singing, and performance skills in this dream-like production. ICO musicians, renowned rock-Guitarist Dave Keary, Drummer John Daly, Cian Boylan on piano and the amazing Rapper Hazey Haze add to the line-up. Join us for a FREE family concert!Also, ICO Youth present a lively concert of mixed repertoire concert conducted by José Scolaro at The People’s Museum, No. 2 Pery Square on Friday 24 May @ 7.30pm. Come along and support these two performances.
