Since I started this programme, I've been to Birmingham, London, Vienna, and Madrid. I've been able to meet people from all over the world. Even if we speak different languages, we speak with our violins. You come out of your shell and can be yourself, and say 'look what I can do!

We have some kids up there that you probably didn't notice today, they're part of our Autism class, and for them to be able to go up and perform in front of their parents on a stage that big is monumental in their lives. You have the core skills of music involved but there is so much else - that building of confidence, building of imagination, creativity, performing their own songs, singing their own songs. It's a joy to behold.
