Paris saw Franchomme adapt Chopin’s much-loved works for cello including his heart-breaking Funeral March. Feel the heavy rain of his atmospheric Raindrop Prelude as it drizzles away and peace returns. Franchomme’s Air Russe Varié is a snapshot of a popular Ukrainian song reminiscent of better times.
