About the performance
Come see why we love playing these three iconic masterworks - one each from the baroque, classical and romantic eras. We promise, you'll recognise the music as soon as you hear it. Mozart’s Eine kleine Nachtmusik is one of the best loved and legendary of serenades. J.S. Bach’s A minor Violin Concerto is one of the all-time great concertos - a show-off work full of fantastic, magical melodies (to hear it is to hear a genius at work). And Tchaikovsky's love of the city of Florence is instantly clear the moment you delve into his sparkling Souvenir de Florence (you'll feel like you're walking the streets of the city with him as you listen).
We simply can't wait to perform these three timeless classics, alongside director and soloist Carolin Widmann - one of the one of the most distinguished violinists of her generation.
