The dreamlike serenity of Satie’s Gymnopédie No. 1 gives way to a heartfelt surge in Massenet’s much loved Méditation before Katherine Hunka’s poignant elegy, Beyond, moves the soul. Finally, bask in the radiance of Ravel’s String Quartet in F Major, arranged for orchestra, as it gathers momentum into a vibrant, exhilarating finale.
