From classrooms to concerts

Education and Community

ICO Youth launched its new year at the First Fortnight Festival on 10 January at The Gaff Limerick. Students shared stories of hope and empathy inspired by a Narrative 4 Ireland storytelling workshop. An appreciative audience enjoyed a rich array of music, across the genres. ICO Schools are also back in action and are working hard on music compositions for the annual Gala Concert in May.

Give the Gift of Music

We are thrilled to be one of twenty selected organisations nationwide to be awarded €25,000 fromThe Ireland Funds. This will support 50 Primary school children with individual needs through free weekly music lessons, while also enabling ICO Youth to compete at the prestigious World Youth Orchestra Festival in Vienna in July. This would not be possible without the Ireland Funds' donors and its committed team, led by Siobhan Gallagher. More infomation here.
