Champ or Chimp
Shannon Rugby Club (SRC) has now launched its annual fundraising initiative, Champ or Chimp, with Irish Chamber Orchestra as its charity partner. The last day to enter is 11th March. Now in its 11th year, Fly Shannon sponsors the initiative.
Champ or Chimp is a sports prediction competition. Entrants are invited to either forecast who they think will win each event or use the ‘Quick Pick’ option i.e. tick a box and their system will generate entries drawn from a prepared list of possible winners or favourites. After every event, Shannon Rugby Club (SRC) send an email to entrants with an updated leader board showing how they are faring.
The cost of one entry is €10 or three for €20. You can enter through their new online form.
As a charity partner, 50% of the proceeds raised by Champ or Chimp with go to ICO Schools.
