Something Else
The Cranberries album Something Else was released in April 2017. Back in 2013, the late Dolores O’Riordan performed a New Year’s Eve concert with the Irish Chamber Orchestra, to mark the advent of Limerick as City of Culture 2014. This fusion of rock and strings marked the beginning of a beautiful friendship.
In 2017, The Cranberries came to our ICO studio to record an acoustic, orchestral version of some of their greatest hits. These songs were especially arranged for strings by ICO Violinist Kenneth Rice. Enjoy ICO in a different guise performing with one of Ireland’s iconic rock bands.
