Irish Chamber Orchestra (ICO) teams up with Parkinson’s Association of Ireland (PAI) to raise vital funds for Parkinson’s Association of Ireland (PAI) while at the same time support Irish Chamber Orchestra’s free education and social development projects.

Over the Christmas holidays, ICO released a charity single with Johnny Logan, directed by Katherine Hunka, arranged, and produced by Jimmy Smyth to some success.  Listen here.

Artwork for the Driving Home for Christmas single, designed by Robert Ballagh will be auctioned soon. A limited-edition Gicleé print is also available for sale. There were only 78 prints created which represented the late Shay Healy’s age on his death from Parkinson’s and coincidentally, Robert Ballagh was 78 when he produced the artwork. All proceeds go towards the above-mentioned charities.
