Following a successful concert series in Limerick and Dublin, the Irish Chamber Orchestra is back on the road at the end of May visiting venues in Doneraile in Co. Cork, and Portlaoise, Co. Laois.

Choral Triptych at St Mary’s

Mozart by Moonlight

Noted for her vibrant performances in a wide diversity of musical styles, Joana Carneiro is one of the most outstanding young conductors of today. In her debut performance with the ICO, Carneiro presents Mozart’s Symphony No. 29, one of the composer’s most famous early works, written at just 18 years of age. It is tentative and graceful, capturing the fire and beauty of Mozart’s spirit. The expressive range and technical sophistication places this symphony in a class of its own.
